Family trip to Atlanta

We went to Atlanta a few weeks ago for a mini vacation. Rusty planned it all and we had a great time!

We went to the "Imagine It" Children's Museum and Addie loved it!

This was at the mini tap dance area! They had all different size tap shoes and sequin vests to wear. It was sooo cute. Addie didn't leave the vest on though!

We finally finished celebrating the day after Christmas! We had to do things a little different this year. Molly got sick Tuesday before with the stomach virus, followed by Grammy, Poppy, Morgan, Jason, Melissa, DeWayne, Addie, Missy, Tracy, Bill, Rusty, and I. We traded out all week as to who was sick! Yuk! It was miserable! That might even be an understatement! I didn't get many pictures the last day, but I thought this was too cute!

Okay, so Addie was Tinkerbell for Halloween and has been obsessed every since! It is kind of funny! Rusty and I have never pushed it. It was just like she fell in love! I took her shopping with me to get stuff from Mums and we couldn't leave Toy's R Us without this couch! I had no idea it had a sleeping bag built in when I bought it!

Aunt Tracy got all three of the girls shopping carts! Molly was sick, so we didn't see her until the next day!

So, as I am gathering everything this morning I picked up my little camera to put in my purse, I looked down and this is what I saw! Also, she was saying "Cheeeeeese!" What a funny kid! I guess that is partially my fault! We take or have her picture taken a lot! You never know what you might miss!

Another little story from last night: Mommy, "Addie I am off tomorrow. Do you want to stay home with mommy?" Addie, "unh uh!" Mommy, "What do you want to do tomorrow?" Addie, "Shuzzy's" Yes, my child wanted to go to Suzy's to play instead of stay with her mommy! Sad times!! When I asked her why she wanted to go to Suzy's she said, at two different times, "Anna" and "doggies." Anna is one of her little friends there and Suzy has two doggies!

Rusty and Dave, along with a few other guys, had to direct traffic! Out of control is an understatement for what was happening in this subdivision!! Eventually the police had to come!

All the girls had been sick, so they trick or treated on their own in Missy's pumpkin! We decided that rain and stuffy noses didn't mix! We were going to go to a Trunk or Treat, but as you can see from the last picture, there was no way out!!

Too funny! I had brought these pajamas and Evie came downstairs with them on too! Definitely a photo op!

Race for the Cure!

I walked with Addie, Mom, Morgan, Molly and Tracy at Race for the Cure a couple of weekends ago. We had a great time. I mean, running late, it was cold, sprinkled a little, Addie's diaper leaked pee everywhere and I got my favorite shoes muddy to get my baby a banana! Okay, it wasn't really as bad as I made it sound! We really did have a good time and it was worth every minute of it!

My friend Ashley turned 30! Wow, how time flies! Nonny and G kept Addie while we got to have some adult time!! We went to Barley's for pizza and to listen to Dishwater Blonde. As some of you know, Addie has a few teeth issues. Well, the issue is that she only has 3 right now! I took her to the dentist with me the other day and they recommended that I take her to a pediatric dentist. Currently she has 2 on top and 1 on bottom! Dr. Crumpton took 2 xrays today to tell if she was just late developing or if she just didn't have them. She is missing 1 baby tooth on the lower, the others are just slow coming in. As for the upper, I wish I could say the same. She is missing 2, possibly 4 baby teeth on the upper. The good thing is that it doesn't mean that she will be missing the permanent ones!! Yes, I cried, but I waited until I got to the car. I just keep telling myself that it could be so much worse! I guess it's a good thing I am in dentistry!!

Friday night we decided to go to Litton's to eat, then Fountain City Park to play, then Marble Slab for dessert. Addie loved her hot dog and sweet potato! She also had part of a yummy Litton's sugar cookie for her dessert!

As you can see, there are no pictures of the Marble Slab! We ate so much yummy food at Litton's that we decided to hold off on the ice cream!

Twins

Evie came over the other day to hang out while her mommy and daddy were at work! The girls had such a good time!

We started with breakfast!

Then grocery shopping! Everyone in Kroger's kept asking if they were twins! They are 3 1/2 months apart, they look nothing alike, but are very close in size! The same height and their weight is off by 4 ounces!! (I can't get this picture to flip!)
Then naptime!!!!

They slept for a while and then we went to the pool with Rusty, Meg, and Kylah. Molly was there with Melissa and John Robert also!

Addie and Kylah had to sit with their chairs facing each other when we were at Nonny and G's the other night! I thought this picture was funny, because they look like they are staring each other down!!

Addie's 12 month doctor appointment

We took Addie to the doctor for her 12 month check-up to find out that she really is as big as we thought she was!!

Here were her stats:

Weight - 23.6 lbs - 90th percentile

Height - 31 inches - 95th percentile

Head - 18 3/4 inches - off the chart! (Little Jug, like her Uncle Brent)

They stuck her finger to check her iron and lead levels! All were good!

The nurse had already stuck her finger in this picture and she didn't care!
After about 10 seconds of the nurse not letting her finger go, she got MAD!!

She sat on her daddy's lap while Miss Elizabeth checked her!

She had to let Addie touch the light before Addie would let her near her ear with it!!

LAST TUESDAY AND WEDNESDAY MORNINGS WERE SPENT IN THE E.R. BEING TOLD THAT IT WAS JUST AN OVARIAN CYST. I KNEW BETTER! I HAVE HAD HUGE ONES BURST AND THEY NEVER HURT THIS BAD!! SO, I TALKED TO MY GYN AND SHE TOLD ME THAT SHE WANTED ME TO SEE MY PRIMARY DR. THIS MONDAY. SO I DID. HE SENT ME TO HIS SURGEON FRIEND FOR ANOTHER OPINION. HE SAID HE WANTED TO RUN A SCOPE TO LOOK AROUND AND TAKE OUT MY APPENDIX. GOOD THING I LET HIM! IT WAS MY APPENDIX, BUT IT WASN'T SHOWING UP ON ANY OF THE TESTS!! SO, 5 DOCTORS, 2 CT'S, 1 ULTRASOUND, 1 PELVIC EXAM, AND 1 SCOPE LATER I HAVE NO APPENDIX NOW. I HAD IT DONE YESTERDAY MORNING AT ST.MARY'S NORTH. THAT PLACE WAS WONDERFUL!!! THEY LET ME COME HOME YESTERDAY AROUND LUNCH TIME!! NOW EVERYONE KNOWS WHY MY BLOG IS BEHIND!! REALLY THOUGH, THANKS SO MUCH FOR EVERYTHING!!!!

We went to Jacob's ballgame last Thursday night to see the Regional Championship game. They won!! It made me a nervous wreck watching the game! This is how excited Addie was!!

Sick and 9 month doctor visit!

Addie's 9 month doctor appointment was actually for tomorrow, but she couldn't wait another day! In my next post you will read that she has been sick this past weekend! Last night was another sleepless night for everyone! We decided that it would be best not to wait another day! They went ahead and did her check up today also! No shots!! Yeah!!

She weighed 21lbs 6 oz.- 90th percentile

length 29 1/2 in- 95th percentile

head 18 in - not sure what percentile

She does not have the croup! Unlike what the emergency room doc told us! Again! She has bronchitis and the start of an infection in her right ear from all the stuff in her head! They gave her a breathing treatment at the doctor and she seems like a different kid. Well, for now! It isn't the middle of the night when we are sleeping really good yet!

Okay, so a lot has been going on in the last few weeks and I am just now getting around to posting them! So, this is going to be one BIG post!

My grandmother, Mums, turned 70 this past week and we had a surprise party for her on Sunday! I made the cake, but was a little stressed out about it! I was going to ice it Sunday morning before church, but instead I was at Children's Hospital E.R.!They diagnosed Addie with croup again! Of course, it really wasn't though! Have I said how bad I hate that place, but what do you do when your baby can't breath at 4am? Needless to say the cake got finished in my sleep!
