The Best Gift Ever!

I got this stocking a few years ago at a craft show. I decided I wanted to put Addie in it and take her picture! I think I will do it every year til she outgrows it! or she won't let me do it anymore! So, this very well could be it!!

Cleaning up!

I have been trying to go through Addie's stuff lately! I decided it was time to really clean out and pack up stuff she doesn't use or can't wear anymore!

She kept trying to get the shoes out of the drawer, so I put her in it!

As you can see, there were plenty of shoes in the floor! No, she wanted the 2 pair that were in the drawer!!

Yes, they are clean and have never been worn!

Destroy the gingerbread house!

We decided it was time to throw away the gingerbread house! I decided I thought it would be fun to see if she could demo it! It was hard as a rock!

This picture is funny! I think she is saying, "You are going to let me do what?"

She did manage to pull off a couple of gumdrops, but that was about it!

Next time you break something, get some of this icing!!

Christmas dinner at Mums' house

We go to Mums' house for dinner and to exchange presents with everyone Christmas night! Pop would have loved it! Santa for 3 little girls! Thanks Santa!

After we leave my mamaw's house, we go to my mom and dad's. I think they went a little overboard this year! I know there hasn't been any kids in 22 years, but hello!! Poppy got Addie and Molly these little metal pedal cars. Dad said it was hard to choose who got which one. They decided when Addie got her poodle skirt for Nonny's birthday party that she got the one on the right!

I think she liked it! At the rate she is growing, it won't be too long before she is riding it around! I don't even want to think about it!!

We always got to my Mamaw Margaret's for lunch on Christmas! Somehow, I really only got two pictures that are good!

Every year we go to Mamaw Betty's for breakfast on Christmas morning!

Ben and Addie went ahead and ate as soon as we got there to keep them as close to schedule as possible! Ben cheesing and showing a little breakfast casserole!

My baby is so happy when she wakes up! Rusty actually had to wake her up so we could get to Mamaw Betty's on time! Rusty and I got up early (6:15 to be exact) and did Christmas together! We thought it would be easier if we were ready when we got her up!

Christmas Eve at Mums' house

Christmas Eve for as long as I can remember has been spent at Mums and Pop's house with Pop's family! A lot has changed in the last 27 years, but we still get together every year!

I don't know how many of you read "The Purpose of Christmas," but it talks about having a birthday party for Jesus. My mom took it to heart and Jesus had a cake this year! She decided just to get a little cake since the girls are so small this year! I loved Addie's bib! All 3 girls had them. It said "Are these people really my relatives?"

Christmas Eve is actually our Uncle Jack's birthday, so he got to blow out the candles for Jesus!

This year the Chandler family got together for Christmas Eve at Gregg and Susan's house!

Rudolph came to visit, but only got to stay for a few minutes! Santa was waiting on him! Addie got so excited and was yelling for him! She didn't want me to hold her. She wanted Rudolph! Thanks for not dropping her Kels!
