The Dreaded Doctor Appointment

Okay, so we went for Addie's 2 month check-up today. That meant she would be getting her first shots! Mommy wasn't excited about it at all!!!

Dr. Feld said that she was looking great!

Aunt Pearl will be happy to know that he said she would be keeping her big blue eyes!!

He said her height was 75%, her weight was 50%, and her head was 45%!

This is Addie on the way to the doctor with no clue what was getting ready to happen!

She still has no clue! She loves to smile and laugh now!!
Rusty thought it would be funny to try his shoe on her!
She got a full belly and was tired of waiting!
Well, as you can see, she hated the shot! (So did Mommy!)For the record, I did cry a little! Thank goodness for Rusty!He got to hold her while the nurse did it. I didn't even look!

Two Month Pictures

We had Addie's 2 month pictures taken yesterday! She did so good! When they started she was still trying to wake up!

I didn't order this picture, but I thought it was funny! She was a sleepy baby!

I went to a baby shower for Justin and Nina the other day and this was the only picture I managed to take! The cake was awesome! It was fondant, but not the yucky kind!!

Happy 1st Birthday Ben!

Tonight was Ben's birthday party! It was so much fun!

The Many Faces of Addie!

I was in the back seat with Addie on the way to Ben's party and decided to take some pictures. She cracks me up with all of the different faces she makes!!

THURSDAY

Thursday we went shopping with Susan, Meg, Kylah, and Kelsie. This is the only picture I took. Can you tell we were packed in there like sardines?

Addie and Kylah will not need any clothes until they grow out of 12 months!

Thursday night we went walking with Meg and Kylah at the park.

Meg and I noticed what we thought was a church group at the pavillion.

Wrong!!

It was a Mini Cooper club! There were 13 of them! (and a Maxima!)

I thought it was funny, so I took a picture!

Good bath night!

Addie did so good with her bath tonight! She usually does good until about half way through! That is when she starts screaming bloody murder! She didn't scream once tonight! I love her p.j.'s that have matching hats for after bath time!! This is her cow p.j.'s that her Grammy and Poppy got her! They are a 3 month and she might get to wear them one more time!! She is growing like a weed!!

Happy 28th Rus!

Yesterday was Rusty's birthday!

Addie and I took Rusty lunch at work yesterday and surprised him with the onesie that I made for Addie! He loves her in purple!

She helped me make his cake, but all the mixing wore her out!
Yes, I know that you aren't supposed to sit these seats on elevated surfaces, but I wasn't putting the cake in the floor!!

She really enjoyed icing it!!
Addie stayed with my mom the other day while I went to the doctor. Apparently, they had a little photo session while I was gone!!

Addie's Baby Dedication

We had Addie's baby dedication at church on Sunday.

She did so good!!

We had everyone over after church for lunch. Thanks for coming in town to see everyone Jess!! It was so good to see you!!

Who needs Anne Geddes?

Okay, so I put her in cabbage!

I saw this in one of Anne Geddes books and decided I wanted to try it!

Addie and I went to the Farmer's Market last Thursday with my mom and dad. My mom found a head of cabbage the size of a basketball and decided it was time to try the picture! She took pictures of Evie like this also, but I didn't have my camera out at the time!

Shopping Day

Meg and Kylah went shopping with us down west. You can't tell in this picture, but Kylah hates her car seat. The poor girl cried and cried and cried! The thing is, Kylah sounds like her volume has been turned down!! Kylah's cry sounds like Addie making noises!!

Walk at the park

Last night Meg and Kylah met us at the new park to walk! Kylah fell asleep as soon as we started walking and woke up to Addie screaming just as we got done! Rusty walked and fed Addie for the first little bit. That is why she is awake in this picture! We really enjoyed it and will have to do it again real soon!!

Ben came over!

Nonny kept Ben on Wednesday, but she had a quick dentist appointment that morning! Ben came to visit while she was gone. As a lot of you know, Ben loves to hang out with the men! He wouldn't let Rus put him down! That meant Rusty got to change the "mother load!!" I think Rusty has been scarred for life!

Addie the Artist!

My dad accidentally broke the glass in one of their doors and there is plywood in the hole until the new glass comes in. My mom had told him she was going to draw a picture on it to make it look better! She kept Addie for a little bit on Tuesday and they decided to draw! Addie even has her foot print on it! I think she was set up!!

Now my dad doesn't want to get rid of the piece of wood!

It was a tree with birds, sun, flowers, and grass!

Century Pools Daycare

Missy always takes Evie to work with her to the Magnolia store on Mondays, so we usually stop by for a little bit! They bought a pack 'n play to have down there for nap time! My dad tells everyone that we have started a daycare down there!

They will love this picture one day!
